Welcome to MARKPool

Howdy! My name is Mark. I am pleased to meet you and thanks for stopping by.  I don’t have a gimmick.  I don’t have an agenda.  I am just another Cardano enthusiast wanting to contribute.

I hope to continually learn how to make this pool as efficient and profitable as possible for all delegators as we continue to grow. Keeping an eye on the staking rewards calculator, I plan to add to my stake pledge balance over time and keep delegators updated on how much delegation keeps rewards at their peak.

As updated statistics become available they will be displayed below.

A little about me

I am from York, Pennsylvania, USA. I am a stay at home father of a very active 2.5 year old while also working from home as a full time freelance web developer and designer. I have been in this feild for the past 12 years.

In addition to helping build the internets, I like to hunt, camp, explore, and eat. I enjoy playing with old and new technology, reading instruction manuals, practicing guitar, and the occasional Netflix binge. Spending time with the family is good every once in a while too.

Multiple layers of security have been installed to keep this stake pool safe.

Staying informed about pool updates and continually learning will help me keep this pool running efficiently.

All details about this pool are open and transparent. Feel free to ask questions.

Why should you delegate

You earn a return on the amount of coins you stake.

When you stake your coins you help keep the network secure.

You are still free to add and spend coins in your wallet at any time. You remain in control of your keys and funds.

How do you delegate

1. Download Daedalus Wallet.

2. Install and fully sync with the blockchain.  Create a new wallet or restore your existing wallet. Let the wallet fully sync.

3. Select the Delegation tab on the left side bar.

4. Select the “Stake Pools” button at the top to see the wall of pools.  When you click on a pool its information will popup.  When you find a pool you like press the “Delegate to this pool” button.

5. You will see a brief walk through of the delegation steps.  Press the “Continue” button.

6. If you have more than one wallet setup in Daedalus you can select which one you would like to use for delegation.

7. Review to be sure that you have selected your desired stake pool.  You have the option at this step to change your mind.  Select the “Continue” button to proceed.

8. Confirm the delegation, review the delegation fee, enter your spending password and then press the “Confirm” button.  That’s it! You are now delegated!  Great Job!
